How to Customize Device Settings in Triton Sync

[Attention: Trtion Sync/Triton Cloud Triton’s Cloud management platform and requires an active Triton Cloud subscription. If you did not purchase a Triton Cloud subscription with your Triton ULTRA sensor, you need to follow the Triton ULTRA setup guide]

After registering a device on the Triton Sync Dashboard, you can customize it to suit your needs. This guide will explain how to access the customization options.

Step 1: Access the “View Devices” Tab #

First, login to your account on the Triton Sync Dashboard. Once logged in, navigate to the “View Devices” tab.

Step 2: Select Your Device #

Find and click on the device you wish to customize. This will take you to the summary page for that device.

Step 3: Understand the Summary Page #

The summary page provides an overview of the device, including the most recent data, connectivity status, and recent notifications.

Step 4: Navigate to the “Configuration” Tab #

Click on the “Configuration” tab to access the customization options. Here, you can rename the device, enter its location, and write a short description. You can also upload an image that will be displayed as the background picture of the device on the “View Devices” tab.

Step 5: Use the “Controls” Tab #

Click on the “Controls” tab to access more customization options. Here, you can:

Ping the device: Use the “Ping Device” button to send a ping to the device and collect the most recent data on device. 

Manage the OnDevice Buzzer: Use the provided controls to turn on or off the Tamper Detection Buzzer, Keyword Buzzer, or Vape Incident Buzzer.

Edit Tamper Controls: Change the default device orientation or modify the amount of time a device has to be off this orientation for a tamper event to be detected(default 3 seconds) .

Adjust Vape Controls: Edit the standard deviation and minimum threshold parameters for our vape detection algorithm. These controls allow you to control the sensitivity of the device. 

Set Audio Controls: Enter the IPv4 Address of the Windows computer running the Triton Keyword Processing software, specify the UDP port that is accepting traffic from the device, and use the switch to enable keyword processing on your device.

Reboot The Device: Use the provided button to send a general reboot command to the device to power cycle it.
